I designed this font for the cover of “Cinema Books by Rasm Publishing . I don’t think it needs much explanation. It’s a classic Arabic bold font with scratches and lines added to it. Of course, this was a lot of time-consuming work. I didn’t touch the kerning and spacing and just added the scratch layers to it, which is why I named it Scratch Arabic! It’s very suitable and looks great for large texts and headlines and titles. That’s where the full nuances of letters and positive and negative spaces can be seen. A font that many book cover designs from various publications have been designed with.
